Almost every sims players are going gaga about custom contents and mods, so if you are new to the franchise and just decided to explore adding custom features to your game well you did a good decision cause there are so many good mods and CCs awaiting you and most of them are free!
In this tutorial, I'll teach you how to install CC and mods, explain what they are so let's get started!
How to Install CC and Mods
First thing we have to enable CC, and Script Mods in the game itself.
Launch the Sims 4 game and once it is done with the loading and stuff, press Esc button and it will show you the menu screen then select Game Options button.
Apply Changes button.
Go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Okay, now that you know where you should put your mods and CCs, there are several things you should know. Mods and CCs are on a .package file like this:
If your file is a .package file like that, all you have to do is to move it inside the Mod folder by doing copy then paste or by simply dragging the file inside the Mods folder and your done. Enjoy!
Given that you have a program to extract zip files, now place your file inside the Mods folder the one that we located earlier. Do it by dragging it inside the Mods folder or copy then paste it in the folder. Then right click the file that you just moved and select Extract here.
If you download a Sim or House/Lot , it will go in the Tray folder, not the Mods folder.
PS. If you have issues with the mod/cc contact the creator of the mod not me cause I to be honest I cant do anything for you if the issue is within the mod. They will surely help you :)
